VDMA Electronics, Micro and New Energy Production Technologies (EMINT) represents the interests of almost 300 member companies. It is subdivided into the specialist departments Micro Technologies, Productronic, Photovoltaic Production Equipment and Battery Production.

Our members represent four of the most innovative sub-sectors of mechanical engineering and benefit sustainably from the exchange of experience that we make possible for them. As an innovation and networking platform, we bundle knowledge for our member companies, whose know-how significantly drives innovation. Together we address relevant future topics such as autonomous driving, renewable energies, electromobility and microtechnologies.

The fourth meeting of the General Types Subgroup begins with a brief welcome. Further ObjectTypes are then presented and discussed together in order to further sharpen the structure within the working group. This is followed by a discussion of a proposal for traceability, with the aim of ensuring transparent traceability of the defined types. At the end of the meeting, the date for the next meeting is set in order to agree on the further coordination of the group.
