The Battery Production Department addresses the production technology of batteries of all technologies, with a current focus on lithium-ion technology. Our member companies supply machines, plants, components, tools and services along the entire process chain of battery production: from raw material preparation to electrode production and cell assembly to module and pack production.
The specialist department is the contact for all questions relating to battery machinery and plant engineering. We research technology and market information, organise customer events and roadshows, offer platforms for exchange within the industry and are in dialogue with research and science.
The third meeting of the General Types Subgroup will begin with a brief welcome. This will be followed by the presentation and joint discussion of additional ObjectTypes in order to further refine the structure within the working group. The meeting will then continue with a discussion on a proposal regarding traceability, aiming to ensure transparent tracking of the defined types. To conclude, the date for the next meeting will be set to support the ongoing coordination of the group.
In the workshop, the results from previous interviews are discussed together, challenges are defined and concrete next steps for finding solutions are developed.
