The board of directors was newly elected for four years at the general meeting on June 22, 2022 in Eltville. The chairman is Jörg Freitag, Siemens AG, and the deputy chairman is Dr. Thomas Bürger, Weidmüller GmbH & Co. KG. For the term of office 2022 - 2026, the following nine representatives steer the strategic direction of the trade association:
