Andreas Schumacher is Director Corporate Strategy at the VTU Group in Vienna. After studying Mechanical Engineering & Management at the Vienna University of Technology, Andreas Schumacher completed his doctorate in Industrial Engineering in 2020 with a focus on value creation through digitalisation. After working as an Industrial Coach and Head of Industrial Digitgalisation Strategies at the Fraunhofer Institute in Vienna as well as lecturing at TU Wien, Andreas Schumacher was appointed Director Corporate Digitalisation (CDO) at the plant engineering company VTU Group in 2022. Schumacher has been Director Corporate Strategy at the VTU Group since April 2024.
