LogiMAT India will celebrate its premiere in Delhi from February 28 to March 1, 2024. As exhibitors, VDMA members receive a 20% discount on the international list price of the stand rental.
LogiMAT India, a new international trade fair for intralogistics solutions, transport and process management, will take place in Delhi from February 28 to March 1, 2024. It will serve as a platform that brings together industry players, experts and innovators from the fields of logistics and material handling. The Materials Handling and Intralogistics Association is the conceptual sponsor of the trade fair.
Machinery exports from Germany to India increased by leaps and bounds in 2021 and 2022, both achieving record levels. This positive trend will continue in 2023. Last year, machinery manufacturers from Germany exported goods worth almost 4 billion euros to India (up 28 percent), and in the first half of 2023 exports already reached around 2 billion euros (up 7.5 percent). Specialist sectors such as drive technology, textile machinery, plastics and rubber machinery, fittings, machine tools and process engineering recorded higher demand. Germany's imports from India in the mechanical engineering sector also increased sharply by around 37 percent to around 1.4 billion euros in 2022.
In the materials handling and intralogistics sector, German exports increased from 2021 to 2022 to around 98.5 million euros, growing by almost 27 percent. German manufacturers are also already recording significant growth with their exports in the current year.
