VDMA members who are directly or indirectly affected by approval procedures by authorities, municipalities, chemical parks, energy suppliers or other business partners and institutions are invited to contribute to the VDMA Standard Sheet: Interested parties please register here.

We are looking for experts who want to actively contribute to the formulation of the VDMA Specificaton so that the approval times for hydrogen plants are as short as possible! The initiative comes from some VDMA members. The VDMA Specification (EB) will be drawn up with the involvement of expertise from VDMA units, including the Process Plant Enginieerng , Power Systems and Power-to-X for Applications working groups, the Large Plant Construction working group and others (see downloads for contact details). If you are interested, please get in touch with the named contacts.

To prepare the project, we will first hold a pre-kick-off meeting (26.6., 10:00 - 16:00, at the VDMA in Frankfurt; face-to-face event only!) Once the committee has been established and the “Preliminary Work Item” has been developed, other interested parties will be invited to participate (3.9.2024). 

The following companies have already agreed to actively participate in the formulation of the contents of the VDMA standard sheet “Approval guidelines for H2 plants”: Air Liquide, Linde Engineering, MAN Energy, Siemens Energy, MTU / Rolls-Royce, Neuman & Esser, GKN Hydrogen, TÜV Rheinland.
