Low-code and generative AI in software development
By low-code, we mean the simplified creation of software that would normally require complex programming. This means that the underlying approach has become increasingly important in recent years in order to help companies extend access to programming to other groups of people and thus close development gaps. In the best case scenario, low-code forms a bridge technology between citizen developers (specialist departments) and professional developers (IT experts). This allows citizen developers to develop simple applications and developers to focus on the more complex problems of programming.

However, current developments in generative AI models give the impression that the development of software solutions will change drastically once again.
While the ability to generate code is constantly improving in software solutions based on artificial intelligence, the question already arises today: "Are generative language models an extension of low-code or no-code or will they even replace them in the future?"
Answers to this question will be provided at our web experience exchange on January 31, 2024. Experts from SIB Vision, Cosmo Consult, Fabasoft Approve and Siemens Energy will illustrate the use of low-code solutions in the digitalization of business processes and demonstrate the future potential of AI in this area.
