The BDI and VDMA Foreign Trade cordially invite you to learn more about the climate strategy for export credit guarantees and investment guarantees in a web event.
The climate strategy for export credit and investment guarantees came into force on November 1, 2023. It is based on the German government's goal of bringing foreign trade promotion in line with the 1.5 degree pathway. Cover concessions are provided for climate-friendly projects and cover exclusions for certain projects.
At a joint event organized by VDMA and BDI with the mandataries Euler Hermes and PwC, you will receive an overview of the changes resulting from the new climate policy requirements. You will also have the opportunity to ask the speakers your questions.
With the investment guarantee diversification strategy that has just come into force, the German government is providing incentives for greater diversification of foreign trade relations by offering more favorable conditions for investment guarantees in over 30 countries.

- Representatives of companies and industry associations with a strategic interest in foreign trade promotion
- Companies that conduct export business in the (fossil) energy, chemicals, metal production, aviation, shipping and automotive sectors.
- Hermes applicants with an order volume of over 15 million euros and suppliers for larger projects.
- We reserve the right to reject participants who do not belong to this target group.
