In 2024, German companies will once again have the opportunity to exhibit at China's largest petroleum and petrochemical trade fair. The registration deadline for the German Pavilion by VDMA is January 29th, 2024.

About the German Pavilion by VDMA
Since 2013, the VDMA has supported the implementation of a German Pavilion at the CIPPE and is known to the organizer. In the years 2021 to 2023, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) carried out an official federal participation at the request of the VDMA Forum Process Technology. On average, 10-15 German companies regularly take part.
However, as the BMWK declined to be included in the federal government's foreign trade fair programme this year, the VDMA is organizing a German Pavilion at the trade fair in its experienced manner. The registration deadline is 29 January 2024, and VDMA members benefit from a reduced price per square meter. The minimum purchase is 9 m² for a built-up area or 18 m² for the pure area. About the trade fair
CIPPE is the largest and most important petroleum and petrochemical exhibition in China, making it the largest petroleum and petrochemical exhibition in Asia. In addition to the major leading Chinese petroleum and petrochemical suppliers (CNPC/Petro China, China National Offshore Oil, Sinopec), other suppliers of process technology, including waste treatment, marine equipment and offshore technology, are also represented. in fact, the CIPPE is a large parallel event. The trade fair is divided into several sections, each of which runs under a different trade fair name. The CIPPE itself serves as an overall and sub-heading. A separate section for hydrogen is a fairly new addition. The annual event is supported by the relevant national industry associations and institutions. For many years, various countries have offered national joint stands at the CIPPE.
Eleven German companies and two sub-exhibitors exhibited at the German Pavilion for the German participation in 2023. In total, around 1,800 exhibitors and 62,134 trade visitors were on site. For the 2024 edition, the organizer expects 2,000 exhibitors from 65 countries, 18 country pavilions and 150,000 trade visitors.
VDMA Forum Process Technology Market Talks: China
Anyone who is still undecided will have the opportunity to find out more about the Chinese market on St. Nicholas Day, December 6 at 10 a.m. via MS-Teams. In the VDMA Process Technology Market Talks series, the VDMA offers its members a platform for exchanging information on current market developments in process technology. In the upcoming edition, Claudia Barkowsky, head of the VDMA office in Beijing, will introduce the participants to the current conditions and market situation in China. The event will be supplemented by current insights into the trade flows between Germany and China in the process technology sector.
