Rolling bearings are an important element in a wide range of mechanical systems. Unforeseen damage to rolling bearings can lead to high repair and downtime costs. In order to avoid rolling bearing damage, knowledge of the damage mechanisms and the influencing factors is of great importance. The aim of the seminar is therefore to explain the damage mechanisms using examples of damage from practice and, based on this, to derive measures for avoiding rolling bearing damage. At the same time, the targeted procedure for the analysis of rolling bearing damage will be presented.
