KORMARINE - International Shipbuilding & Marine Equipment Exhibition has been held every two years since its launch in 1980 and is Asia's second largest shipbuilding trade fair after Marintec China in Shanghai.
At the previous event in 2021, 700 exhibitors presented themselves to around 19,500 trade visitors at KORMARINE during the coronavirus pandemic, according to the organizers. A total of 23 companies (22 main exhibitors and 1 sub-exhibitor) took part in the German joint stand, with a total of 432 m² (369 m² of which was rented out to companies).
For comparison, here are the figures from the last pre-corona event in 2019: According to the organizers, 634 companies, 473 of them from abroad, from 45 nations presented themselves to 38,253 trade visitors on 17,280 m². Thirteen nations were represented with joint participations (China, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Greece, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Taiwan and the United Kingdom).
An official German joint stand is also planned for KORMARINE in 2025 with funding from the federal government. The application documents have been released by the BMWK and are available for download here. Registration deadline is 31.05.2023.
