Novel materials play an important role in innovation processes and in the manufacture of new products. Material research helps developers and designers find materials that are suitable for their purposes. But materials research is often tedious and time-consuming because it usually involves sifting through numerous different data sources. Material Hub provides a remedy here. This central, freely accessible research portal is being developed at the Sächsische Landesbibliothek - Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Dresden (SLUB) and the Technische Bibliothek Hannover (TIB) with the support of the VDMA.
In this presentation you will learn how Material Hub allows access to material data from various data sources in a compact search mask. Furthermore, you will learn how you can publish your data in order to optimally present your materials, increase your visibility and initiate contact with customers and potential cooperation partners.
