Shaping intralogistics of tomorrow: At the first joint de:hub Journey of the BMWK in cooperation with the VDMA, we are envisioning the future of intralogistics in mechanical engineering and launching co-innovation with startups. Join us on an innovation tour through the Digital Hub Logistics in Hamburg and immerse yourself in creative work sessions, startup speed dating and exchange formats with experts from the fields of intralogistics, innovation and digitization.

How can digitization, automation and new approaches to co-innovation with startups in intralogistics help equip us for the new challenges and opportunities of our time? At the de:hub Journey "Innovation in Intralogistics", we will take a closer look at intralogistics trends and join you in establishing new networks in the startup and science ecosystem to unleash innovation and collaboration potential.

What to expect:
-best practice session on disruption and innovation in intralogistics: Intralogistics also has to face disruptions. The best protection against them is to bring them about yourself. In the keynote by Christopher Kirsch, Director Global Innovation of BEUMER Group and Robert Bach, Managing Director, Beam, learn how BEUMER uses its in-house company builder Beam to build intralogistics startups that create innovative solutions to customer problems.
-discover startup solutions and find implementation partners: Discover startups that offer you new potential for intelligent and efficient intralogistics with their original approaches to solutions. In the "Match Machine" format of the Digital Hub Logistics Hamburg, you will get to know startups with potential in speed dating. This way, you can get an idea of the range of solutions offered by the intralogistics startup scene and, with a bit of luck, meet your personal "match made in heaven".
-methodology training for co-innovation: Co-innovation - yes! But how? The Digital Hub Smart Systems Dresden will work with you in the format "Thin[gk]light" on the processes for realizing co-innovation in your company. The result of the method training is an initial concept that offers solutions to your specific challenges and supports you in taking the first steps.
-learn about intralogistics trends and tap into potential: What are the latest technological developments in intralogistics? What opportunities are there for automating internal logistics processes? Which challenges have to be mastered and how can you realize the given potentials in your company? In the "Tech Update" format, we will enter into discussion together after a short keynote speech by Fraunhofer experts from the Digital Hub Logistics Dortmund.

The event is aimed at decision-makers from the mechanical and plant engineering sector with an interest in intralogistics, innovation and startups. It is exclusively for VDMA member companies and invited guests and is free of charge for them. Participation in the event is limited to 25 people to ensure a productive working atmosphere. If you are interested in the event, please register online for the event by 17.01.2022 and provide us with a short motivation. We will give you feedback after the registration deadline whether you could get a place.
