VDMA meeting for market experts
On request of many members from the process technology segment as well as by the oil, gas, petrochmical technology companies within VDMA and in cooperation with the VDMA AG Power to X for Applications, we are organizing a first meeting for managing directors, sales and regional sales managers as well as project and marketing managers for these markets on 26.10.2023. The European Market Experts Meeting Green Molecules From Production to Application will bring together sales and project managers of European technology players along the H2 and Green Molecules chain once a year to exchange information on current and future market developments. For the first event on 26.10.2023 we expect some 40 participants. Event language is English, as we also expect individual participants from outside Germany.

Agenda
The VDMA will introduce to the current market development.Sebastian Budischin from Bosch will give its market assessment on the fuel cell business and Mathias Zelinger, VDMA Competence Center Energy and Climate, will explain how the current H2 and energy policy in Berlin and Brussels affects our sector. Karsten R. Radtke form thyssenkrupp UHDE will look beyond hydrogen in the world of H2-derivatives for the chemical, transport and other industry sectors, whereas Peter Mock from the EEX power exchange in Leipzig will explain how hydrogen can be traded on the power exchange in the future. A presentation on H2 infrastructure is still requested. And finally, it is also about getting to know each other and networking among the participants. Please find attached the preliminary agenda.

Green Molecules - current and future markets
Hydrogen and green molecules are currently on everyone's lips. Some process engineering companies in the VDMA have long been familiar with the market for grey hydrogen. Now blue and green hydrogen are being added, as are new solutions for other H2-based chemical building blocks, so-called hydrogen derivatives, which are increasingly finding their way into the markets as low-CO2 or even climate-neutral "green" variants: Chemicals, steel, cement, glass, heavy transport, shipping, fertilizers and energy are just some of the key user markets. Some of them are still being developed, but others already have very clear prospects and initial projects. In Germany, Europe and worldwide. In mechanical engineering, the topic has long since arrived. Numerous VDMA members now offer their own products with H2 or other climate-neutral molecules.

Conditions of participation
The event is free of charge for VDMA members and is aimed at managing directors, sales and regional sales managers as well as project and marketing managers with an interest in the German, European and international H2 / H2 derivatives markets. Guests from the mechanical and plant engineering sector can attend up to three times upon request; after that, membership is expected.
We also invite occasional guests from user industries.
