Starting with an overview of the different gear types (helical, bevel, worm and planetary), the seminar provides a holistic overview of all relevant steps in the product development process of a helical gear unit:
- Rough dimensioning of helical gear units
- Gear design with respect to load capacity, efficiency and noise
- Manufacturing of spur gears
All course contents are taught in a practical manner using the example of a two-stage helical gear unit.
