After purchasing a machine or system, customers can enter specific service requests as tickets directly in the platform, locate and assign spare parts in the 3D model and order them directly, as well as use other service-relevant touchpoints along the customer journey.
In our on-site Erfa at Vollmer Werke Maschinenfabrik GmbH, you will first find out first-hand what impact digitalization can have on service and how Vollmer's processes have changed since the platform was introduced. Using the VPortal as an example, best practice examples will be presented and an insight into Vollmer's service strategies will be provided.
In addition to a factory tour through the production halls of VOLLMER, you can also expect two field reports from Index Werke GmbH and Arburg GmbH, which focus on end-to-end digital processes and the processing of service data - including with AI.
