The potential of AM is great and steadily growing in importance in certain market and technology trends. Replacement of traditional manufactured metal parts by additively manufactured plastic parts generates considerable advantages for industrial applications.
Apart from direct cost advantages, lower cost, are many indirect effects achievable as well. Weight reduction, leading to higher output and/or lower cost, parts integration and improved parts availability are just a few to mention.
During the session we will dive into the ins and outs by discussing some theory but moreover show by examples the gains to be achieved.
